The band is fronted by charismatic lead singer Anne Pohl. Anne is an Indiana native who moved to Manhattan in the fall of ‘94 seeking the competitive environment of the NYC club scene to hone her musical skills.

Anne pens all the lyrics for the band's songs and delivers them in a voice that has been described as passionate, powerful and emotional. She clearly thrives on the band’s live performances, which she delivers with the same power and emotion which comes through on the band's albums.
